Megan Uy, LMHC
Behavioral Health at Purple Crayon Pediatrics
Megan Uy is a graduate of Wellesley College and received her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and Behavioral Medicine from Boston University School of Medicine. She was licensed as a mental health counselor in Massachusetts in 2008.

Megan began her career working in day and residential programs for patients with eating disorders, a professional interest she maintains to this day. She loves working with children, adolescents, and families and takes an eclectic and relational approach to her work, primarily drawing on principles from play therapy, CBT, DBT, and Internal Family Systems, that always takes a child’s individual development into account.

Megan lives in Arlington with her husband and three sons. A total bookworm, she loves to read children's, young adult, and adult fiction and memoir. A former high school and collegiate runner and cross country coach, Megan loves endurance activities of all kinds, especially running, cycling, hiking, rowing, and walking. She recently got back on the roads with her first real bike since high school.
